Monochromatic Jungle Nursery: Budget Series

We’ve all seen the neutral nurseries. Cream is the color! But what about sticking to all blues, purples or pinks?! Today’s nursery was inspired by my first neutral nursery, but I wanted to stray away from the cream colored palette. I found myself sticking to a blue gray color base. The rug is our pop of art here, with the coordinating wall color. But the rest of the pieces and colors are very monochromatic. I think this design is peaceful in a way, with a lot of room to grow for styling if you’d like. Maybe add another pop of color to the crib sheets or changing pad cover. When sticking to a budget, the big pieces are where your money is going to go, but keep the décor simple and you still have a perfect space for your little cub to grow. Today’s total was $1,162. Just one more week of sticking to a budget here! Haha. I hope you are enjoying this series. We’ll see you back soon – XO, G

Navy Sport: Budget Series

Talk about a score card!! This week’s nursery design is coming in at $1,300, plus some $ for shelf styling. If you can’t tell, I’m really keeping these budget nurseries simple. You don’t need much, but a few pieces coordinated well can make a room feel special. The peel and stick wallpaper is a great way to create an accent wall, making your space feel more elevated. I’m using Etsy prints again for wall art! These can easily be interchanged and ones that will grow with your child. And always a mirror to capture sweet moments with your baby while you watch them grow into who they are. I love book shelves or wall shelves, whichever you have more space and use for. I found these smaller shelves from Target, perfect for above the changing dresser for needed items or sentimental pieces to display. I hope you feel inspired here as you dream of your next space coming to life! – XO, G

A Bear in the Forest – Nursery Design

Week 3 of my nursery design series! Which one will be your favorite?! Today’s design is inspired by a camo print blanket I’m working on sewing. I pieced a room around it, wanting a space to bring you into another world. Just like the forest does! Wallpaper is a really fun way to dress up a room and transport you somewhere else. This pine tree print varying in shades of green is almost dreamy. You might be taken to a drive up the mountains, or to the Christmas tree farm where the snow has fallen. It’s just perfect! I chose another iron crib by Namesake, this time in gold. I loved the contrast here against the green, but it does come in two other finishes. A crib is really what grounds a nursery, but I kept the dresser and glider still different and fun. I went with a taller dresser this time, although you may want to do lower for an easier changing station. The changing basket in front of the dresser can be moved around the house too if you’d like. And then how sweet and cozy is the textured glider. I need to see it in person soon! These designs are all about inspiring you and hoping you find a piece that excites you as you dream up your next space!

Make sure to check out the links below to the décor pieces. The fun bear accents like the bear mobile, bear bookends or the classic bear rocker. I also found the animal tracks art piece to be so fun! Navy Blue Star Nursery

Hello! I’m excited to share this star/constellation themed nursery today with you all! It’s sort of a classic and something you may see quite a bit in nurseries, but I wanted to keep it simple and sophisticated. The light blue greyish wall color will grow with your child, and the rug could be used in any room of the house. Also, once the topper on the dresser is removed, you have a timeless piece of furniture to keep forever!

Take a look and let me know if you have any questions or are in need of some design guidance or more inspiration! I’ll have everything linked through its description below. XO, G

Mountain Nursery Inspiration

Hi everyone and happy Thursday! As always I am back on here after over a month… just terrible of me, but I’ve been getting back in the swing of my fall semester of my junior year. With my crazy schedule I still have been thinking of some design ideas to bring to you though! Recently I have come to the idea that I want to show you all what I can put together for every and any room in your home!

So far I’ve brought content featuring, kitchen, living spaces, bedroom and bathroom designs. Today I wanted to change it up and branch out to feature a nursery design for any of you that are preparing for a new baby, or already have little ones and love to find new inspiration like this!

I started with the focal pieces of furniture and decor, and added a few little touches like the table lamp, desk and crib sheet and blankets. I’ll have everything linked below through description, but if you would like any other accent ideas feel free to contact me! xo, G
