It sure is Winter where I am! But this nursery design says anything but cold and dull. It is cozy, sweet and just the perfect touch of color for your baby. I personally think this room could be fit for a prince or princess. The wallpaper print here is enlarged so you can see the detail. Head to US WallDecor to see more! I love the mix of pattern here against the wallpaper with the glider, and the art piece above the crib. I’ve added the classic decor pieces otherwise – shelves, frames and a mirror. Color Series: Living Room

Welcome to a new 4 week design series! These next designs are inspired by Benjamin Moore’s 2025 Color Trends. First up is Rosepine and Paris Rain! I was hoping there would be a Green color palette suitable for a relaxing living room. This color always seems to draw me back to nature, letting a grounding energy come through. The furniture pieces are cozy and neutral, with pops of wood tones in the end and coffee tables. Remember to always add in fun elements to your space with accent pieces. Modern Art Deco Nursery by G

Hello and happy Friday! Today I’ve put together a design inspired by this midi sized blanket I sewed. It’s a baby pink background with a terrazzo print of navy, orange and white. It’s my take on modern art deco. When I found a rug that matched my blanket print, the visualization of this space just took off! I was envisioning a natural white crib for this space so I knew I had to start shopping at Babyletto. The acrylic rails to their Harlow crib make this piece really stand out. For this design, a matching dresser set fit the space I envision. I love to mix and match dressers and cribs, but sometimes a set is just too good to not stay cohesive. I kept the finishing accents simple, with room to add your own pieces already sourced, or to thrift new ones inspired by this design. Maybe a vintage lamp, a fun mirror or your own unique prints or artwork. For an added fun share, I placed a padded play mat by Gathre along with a modern toy bar in this nursery design. Every little piece is simple, yet very sophisticated for the modern baby! I hope you enjoyed this week’s design and I’ll be back next week with another one.
